• Born in Australia, he’s an actor-director author and seminar lecturer.
• He began his career as a copywriter for Warwick/Paton Advertising in Sydney
• He worked as a writer-announcer for 2DU radio in Dubbo, NSW.
• The newspaper business followed. He edited and published the Western Examiner in Sydney, then Tempo magazine.
• Leaving Australia in 1953, he travelled the world as a jazz pianist, working in Europe before settling in Toronto.
• In Canada, he started a newspaper, The Advertises and built a chain of publications (Canadian News Publications) in addition to running a public relations consultancy and a radio and television production company. He studied t with the Canadian Theatre School for several years and acted in the Canadian productions: Cannonball, Last of the Mohicans, The Unforeseen, General Motors Presents and three long running radio series.
• He sold his Canadian interests and moved to New Yok to study TV-Film production at New York University and acting with The Neighborhood Playhouse.
• He starred in the play “Cat On A Hot Tin Roof in Jeferson City receiving a best actor award for his performance.
• In New York, he was voted one of the world’s “10 Best Dressed Men” by an international fashion design group.
• He moved to Los Angeles in 1961 and worked in rad, TV and films, including Hawaii Five-0 He produced and directed under his own Briad Film Productions bannes He acted in and produced, stage plays in Hollywood, hosted his own daily TV show “Adams At Noon” for CBS and lectured to business and professional groups on success and metaphysics topics. Considered to be one of the best motivational speakers in the USA, he has worked as a speaker for many top politicians in Canada, the US and Australia.
• In 1967 Channel 10 Sydney brought him to Australia to star in his own “Tonight Show”, then “Adams After Noon”, and other programs. He wrote, produced, hosted a documentary series “Around the World with Brian Adams”.
• He has appeared in nearly all Australian drama series including: Matlock, Homicide, Delta, No.96, Restless Years. G.P. The Sullivans, Time-lapse, Sporting Chance, Young Doctors, Sons & Daughters, Flair, Steel City, Time Trax, Country Practice, Murder Call, etc. He has appeared in the films: Man In A Hot Seat, Flaming Frontier, Roadhouse, Return Of Captain Invincible, Phar Lap, Les Patterson Saves The World, Luigi’s Women, Death of a Soldier, Howling III. Shotgun Wedding, and in the Hawaii 5-0 series.
• He heads Briad TV/Film Productions and Image Training Systems (Aust.). In addition to theatrical work he lectures on acting, TV-Film directing-production and conducts seminars for companies on executive development and sales and marketing techniques. He is a dynamic motivational communicator motivator.
